Many folk see not much of value in me. Some few look twice, and wonder. The madness and disfunction that most see when they glance at me, they instead see a glimmer of something that might tempt them to stop and wonder. The truth is, I am no greater or lesser than anyone. I am one transitor in a microchip, and we do not value the speaker wire leading from it above the mass of electronics which provided the wire its signal. I am nothing without you, anything of value in my soul was given to me by you all, and I apreciate the fuck out of it. I wish I did a better job understanding your hopes and dreams, they power mankind's migration toward some enduring surface of universe where we might scratch our name before we return to the void. But I am not fool enough to think I am the signal, I just happened to have once passed near where a portion of our collective souls flowed without turbulence, through a groove in the universe which leads toward meaning. Do not praise me, ever, for what I have done, or for what I will do. I am nothing but a single point that existed, for a moment, on the statue we carve into the fabric of reality in gratitude for the undeserved gift of existence that we were given. We should stop tearing ourselves apart, we all are equally worthless and worthy, in the eyes of eternity. All that I am, I owe to all of you. If you see in me good, then it's inside you too.
