Hello.  James Wolverton here.  I just noticed a payment was made from my bank

Aug 03 MDC*SOUTHWEST ELECBOLIVAR MOMDC*SOUTH WE	Debit Card	-$100.00
to a long dead account earlier this month, and I am guessing it is because I loaned my debit card to my friend Jonny Mayfield so that he could pay on his electric account, at a different property miles away.  Apparently the slightly increased complexity of the transaction surpassed your company's ability to route it properly, and it even slipped right past any procedures you surely must have in place to detect irregularities of this nature.  (If you have none, you might want to check.  You could have a million dollars, pooled somewhere past the cracks in your accounting)

I should heed the advice of Stephen King though, and acknowledge my contribution to the failure of what we attempted:

Sorry about that, Mr. Mayfield and I were not able to determine his Southwest Electric account number and thus I was not able to use your website's ability to make a one-time payment on another's account.  

Neat little trick, I assume you will be earning interest on those funds, until I notice and request a refund?  I can't imagine that you would isolate all the little abandoned bits of capital like this from the rest of your financial machine.  Well, unless you do not have concern for your customer's property, and their well-being?  Which, I suppose, is probably true.  No room for empathy and integrity, when you must reserve that space for all the dirty lucre you amass for yourselves.  

I wonder, when did we forget that mankind is as important as ourselves?  We rarely spare an iota of concern for others.  How can we, when we are busy trying to carry the great weight of our selfishness?  Can you imagine the disaster, if extending a hand in common curtesy and decency and fairness caused our iron grip on our greed to slip???

Keep the coins, or not, they convey no comfort to me. They are but counters in a child's game.
